I would also suggest to remove all CC from the game and try it to see if it repeats. I looked around for this problem, and it may have something to do with some hairstyles. Same goes with Export folder - all your exported files, Screenshots, Videos and Downloads. You can save your Sims the same way you save your Saved Games - in same place you can find folder named Saved Sims with all the Sims you saved in CAS. I can only see this being a problem with mods and 3rd party CC, because a DLL can be a shared system file and 3rd party CC and mods can make changes to core system DLLs to function. Although I would be careful with that because this error may have been produced by one of those files. I am not sure if you are able to save the Sims but you can rescue your save files by dragging the 'save' file out of the EA folder and onto your desktop. If the game still ceases to function and produces this error then I would suggest a full re-install. In order to remove mods I would go back to where you got it from and ask for specific removal instructions, that is something I know nothing about as I do not run mods.ģrd party CC can be removed by dragging the entire 'downloads' folder out of the EA folder. ![]() If you do not run mods, then it could be an issue with 3rd party CC, again remove that and try to run the game. My first thought on this one is that it is a problem with a MOD, so if you run mods I would remove those and then try to run the game.
